# How Do I Capture a Fund or Portfolio ID?

## This is the starting point for all formulas in the Excel Add In

Fund ID specifies and Asset ID to request data from Allocator.

**Formula**

=ALLOCATOR\_ID( *\[Text\]* ID)

**Arguments        **

**ID** - Required - *Text -* ***Eg****: fdedb7*               The ID you want to index.

**Example**

Display "fdedb7"

=ALLOCATOR\_ID(“fdedb7”)

**Remarks**
