Jabre Capital Partners SA founder Philippe Jabre and Ikos Asset Management Ltd.’s co- founder Elena Ambrosiadou at- tended the second annual Hedgepo Investors Choice Hedge Fund Awards 2014 at the Dorchester Hotel in London on Tuesday night. Jabre Capital’s JABCAP Global Bal- anced Fund, FundLogic Alterna- tives Plc’s MS PSAM Global Event UCITS Fund and Meadows Capital Management LLP’s Laurentia Global Fund won Fund of the Year, UCITS Fund of the Year and the Emerging Fund of the Year, respec- tively. “These three firms, and all the other winners on the night, fully deserve the recognition of their achievements,” said David Tawil, co-founder of Hedgepo. “They have been chosen based on set criteria and by the investors in hedge funds, people experienced in evaluating hedge funds on more than just performance.” Jabre Partners also won the Global Equity Fund of the Year and Global Multi-Strategy Fund of the Year awards.
